QUICK-CONNECTING Description: The basic parts of this coupling are a bronze female shank coupler and a male adapter, which have a washer seal but no threads. These two parts fit snugly together and are held in place by two cams on the female shank coupler which rotate against a groove in the male adapter. This allows the coupling to be connected or disconnected very quickly. Adapters and dust caps are available as shown below. Standard materials are bronze or aluminum.
